Terms of service
These terms govern your use of singhsarcade.com and any services you buy through it (reservations, deposits, mini-game rewards). By creating an account or submitting a booking you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account and submit a booking on your own behalf. Minors may visit Singh's Arcade and play games, but a parent or guardian must hold the account and submit any reservation or birthday party booking.
Bookings — pool table
Pool table reservations are 1-hour slots, charged at $25/hour, payable at the counter on arrival. No deposit. You may cancel any time before the slot starts via the link in your confirmation email — there is no fee. Failing to show up without cancelling counts as a no-show; we may decline to take future reservations from accounts with repeated no-shows.
Bookings — Mob Room, birthdays, corporate
These products require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, processed by Stripe. The deposit secures your slot and is credited toward the final balance. Cancellation 14+ days before the event date will release the slot but the deposit is not refunded — this protects the venue from holding a date that we then cannot resell. Rescheduling within 14 days of the event is at the venue's discretion. The remaining balance is paid at the venue on the day of the event by card or cash.
What's included
Each product page lists what's included (capacity, hours, add-ons, BYOF rules). Anything not listed is not included unless we put it in writing in your confirmation email or in a follow-up message from staff. Catering, branded merch, and other corporate add-ons are quoted separately and added to the final invoice.
Pinball Lite + rewards
Pinball Lite is a free in-browser game offered as a guest experience and as a way to earn small rewards (free arcade credit, free milkshake, free tournament entry). Rewards are tied to your account, expire 30 days after they're earned, and are limited to one reward per tier per 24 hours. We may invalidate scores we determine were submitted using automated tools, modified clients, or other means that bypass the gameplay loop — see our anti-cheat measures in /api/games/score. Rewards cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash. They are redeemable in person at 83 Rue Sainte-Anne only.
Conduct on the premises
Singh's Arcade is a venue for everyone. Harassment, intimidation, or violence toward other customers, staff, or property may result in immediate removal and a ban from future bookings. We reserve the right to refuse service consistent with our duties under the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.
Liability
Singh's Arcade takes care to maintain safe equipment and a safe space, but games and shared spaces carry inherent risks. To the extent permitted by Quebec law, our liability for any single booking is capped at the total amount you paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms; changes are effective when posted here. Material changes affecting your bookings already on the books will be communicated to you by email. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute will be heard by the courts in the judicial district of Montreal.
